Dear old friends...

Two years ago I painted a series of little canvases (15x15cm) for a baby-girl's bedroom. Those canvases were portraits of animals with a vintage feel. I loved them very much and although I let them go find a new home I still miss them... So I decided to give them a new life.

This is my first attempt to go digital... so please do not be very strict...

First, I introduce you Bunny Teal! Bunny Teal is an artist. Today he is being interviewed for an article in an Arts magazine. For his portrait, he is posing against his newly decorated studio wall...

Some finished work

At last I found some time to post some finished work photos. These are photoalbum covers painted with acrylics and fabric paints. Most of the albums are comissions. Personalised gifts for special liitle people!

The "two pirates in the boat" album are for two cute brothers that want to safely keep the memories of their last summer holiday...

For most albums I make linen or plain cotton drawstring bags, which I personalise and hand paint using acrylics and fabric paints. As I believe that quality and beauty is in he details, I also make little "good luck'' pins...

The next album, the pirate with the camera, is a gift for a three year old photographer

And after the sweet pirates... here comes the fish... Finished and waiting on my studio self... I still find it difficult to give it away...

I don't know why it's so difficult to update my blog regularly!!! Last time I posted something was mid September... More than two months ago!
I have to try... more...

Saturday, September 15, 2007

Last couple of days I've been really busy. Trying to pack my stuff to move to my new studio, working a little bit, and surfing the internet.
Here is something I just finished. A photo album for a baby girl's baptism. And a drawstring bag with her name printed on. What do you think?

And another album I started two nights ago while watching tv

Hope i'll finish it tonight.

It's been a long time since I started this blog... But so many things happened to my life this year. The most important of all: I gave birth to my second child!!! So, now, I can proudly announce that I'm a mom of two... Myrto, my daughter, is 31/2 years old now and Stefanos is 12 months old. Aren't they cute?

These photos were taken during our summer holiday.

I adore my little monsters, but I also love... crafts. I enjoy making all kinds of things using my hands. Lately, though, i've been so busy at home!!.. No time left for me or my hobbies. And no space.... That's why I decided to organize a small studio. Difficult task. Cause I'm messy and I have so many things. Anyway... I'm looking forward to it. I hope it will be ready by the end of this month.I'll post some pictures then
